Fix for msvcp100.dll is missing error in Killer Instinct

I’ve been busy with exams and some other stuff, so I’ve not really had time to play computer games. However, am free now and I’ve decided to play some of my favourite games. I love fighting games, and I was able to purchase Killer Instinct from Steam I during the summer sale, but am yet to touch it. However, after I installed it through Steam, I tried launching it to no avail, instead I received an error message informing me that msvcp100.dll is missing and could not be found on my system and that I should reinstall the program to fix it. I reinstalled the game and nothing happened and all my efforts to fix the error proved abortive. I even tried verifying game catch, and running the game through folder, amongst other things, but nothing seemed to work.

After several unsuccessful attempts to fix the error, I stopped trying to fix it myself and decided to look for a viable solution from the internet. The users on the Steam community forum advised me to have the game reinstalled and verify cache which I had done already, so I abandoned that community and decided to search further. I discovered one forum where several users were experiencing the same msvcp100.dll is missing error on different applications and one person was able to solve the problem by installing the missing library. I decided to give it a chance, so i visited and downloaded and installed the msvcp100.dll library into my system 32 library by following the website’s installation instructions. After the installation, I rebooted my system and launched the game. To my delight, it was functioning properly and has continued to function well till now. Hope this will help you to get rid of msvcp100.dll is missing error on your computer. Feel free to like and share this guide if it was useful for you.
