We finally got new updates from No Man’s Sky. Like others, I purchased this game pre-alfa, but I was unable to play it because it had a lot of bugs. A year after its development, I was hoping that they’ve been able to fix most of the bugs and add some other items to the game. I was really hoping that the game has become playable, so I installed it through Steam. After completing the installation, I launched the game, but all I got was a system error informing me that msvcr120.dll is missing and the program could not be started. I didn’t think it was a bug from the game, so I went online to research on how to fix it.
After searching for a few hours, I discovered that the msvcr120.dll error is connected to the system library not the third-party application. The msvcr120.dll is missing error occurred because the program was trying to access the missing library. The only thing you need to do to fix it is download and install the msvcr120.dll library. I was able to download one from https://fix4dll.com/msvcr120_dll.
Immediately after I did that, it became easy to run No Man’s Sky on Steam and I was quite impressed because the game was a lot more exciting!
