Recently I started to work on one project which required modelling in AutoCAD. So, I’ve downloaded AutoCAD 2015 and installed it on my computer. When I tried to launch the program, I received the following message: “The program can’t start because Vcomp110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.” I have tried to install different version of AutoCAD, but it didn’t help, but interesting fact that I have installed the program on my Laptop and it works. Anyhow, my laptop is so outdated that I couldn’t work properly with AutoCAD. I started to search for the solution online and found lots of interesting information.
First of all, I found that vcomp110.dll is missing error is pretty common and happens for lots of users and not only in AutoCAD. Secondly, this error occurs because Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 was not installed during installation, possibly because it was blocked by anti-virus software. There are plenty of ways to fix the error, however I opted for the easiest one. I just went to https://fix4dll.com/vcomp110_dll and downloaded the dll library. After that I’ve scanned it with my anti-virus to make sure it’s not some malware. Also, I have checked hash and md5 sum and it appears to be the genuine vcomp110.dll library. Then, simply installed the library by following the instructions provided on the website and rebooted my computer. After those simple manipulations, I was able to run AutoCAD on my Windows 10 computer without vcomp110.dll is missing error. Feel free to use this guide and share with your friends.
