I am currently running the Windows 10 64 bit version and because it is a new operating system, you will notice that it has bugs. However, Microsoft is really trying to fix these issues by releasing daily updates. But somebody might find this useful. I installed steam on my system today and downloaded and installed Sid Meier’s Civilization VI so I can play it after work. When I got home, the Sid Meier’s Civilization VI had finished installing so I tried to launch the game to no avail, all I got was a system error message stating that xinput1_3.dll is missing on my system. The message also advised me to reinstall the application in other to fix the issue. However, you don’t have to reinstall Civilization IV just because of the xinput1_3.dll not found error message.
The xinput1_3.dll is missing error has nothing to do with Steam or Civilization 6 game. If you get the message, then it means that that the program you want to launch is unable to locate xinput1_3.dll library or is unable to open because the file has been damaged. Any application that needs xinput1_3.dll to function might experience it which is why you don’t have to reinstall the application, all you need to do is to download and install the xinput1_3.dll library from https://fix4dll.com/xinput1_3_dll.
This should help you fix the xinput1_3.dll is missing error on steam or any other program. My friend informed me that it helped him fix the xinput1_3.dll error in his GTA V. So I’m certain it will fix any program. Feel free to like and share this tutorial.
