Recently me and my friends bought Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege on Steam. All of us installed the game but I couldn’t play it because of msvcr100.dll is missing error. That was weird, because I never had problems with games on steam and also we all have the same computer setup. I tried to reinstall the game, but that didn’t solve the problem. We all starting to search for the solution, because the objective was to play together. After a while we started testing various solution guides, but nothing worked for me. We found that msvcr100.dll is missing error is not related with the game, but with my operating system. I’ve installed all of the latest updates and updated my drivers, but it didn’t help me to fix msvcr100.dll is missing error in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. My last hope was the guide that my friend found and after trying it I finally managed to fix this error.
Since the msvcr100.dll is a system library you will not be able to fix msvcr100.dll is missing error by reinstalling the game. You need to reinstall your system or just install the msvcr100.dll library manually. I opted for the second solution – to manually install msvcr100.dll library. So, I just downloaded and installed msvcr100.dll file from here: http://fix4dll.com/msvcr100_dll. Attention here, you should select proper operating system and then just follow the installation instructions provided on the downloading page corresponding to your operating system.
After installing msvcr100.dll I was able to run Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege with my friends. Hope this will help you too to fix msvcr100.dll is missing error. Feel free to like and share.
