I have tried so many different web browsers, however I always had some problems with each of those. For example, Google Chrome would always consume lots of RAM resources for no reason. In Opera I couldn’t open some specific web pages and so on. So, I decided to stick with native Windows browser Internet Explorer and it was great until a couple of days ago I that started experiencing the Wshext.dll is missing and could not be found error that appeared every time I launched my Internet Explorer browser. I didn’t understand why it was happening and I felt it was caused by a virus. I scanned my system with antivirus software and it turned out that my system did not have any virus, yet the Wshext.dll error still persisted. It bothered me for a while until I discovered the solution that am about to share with you.
After searching for the cause of the Wshext.dll error for a whole day, I discovered that it is linked to a toolbar. I probably installed certain toolbar bundles along with some programs and the Wshext.dll file was removed by my antivirus as a suspicious file. This is why I kept on receiving the Wshext.dll error each time I opened my IE. Fixing this problem is very easy, all you need to do is look for a genuine Wshext.dll and put it in the appropriate location. My Wshext.dll was downloaded from https://fix4dll.com/wshext_dll.
