How to fix api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing in Skyrim Special Edition

Finally, the Skyrim Special Edition was released on Steam and gladly I had all of the previous DLC and the game so I got it for absolutely free. I was very happy and excited to play the game once again with new graphics and without crashes and glitches. To my disappointment the game already had the bug or however you want to call it. Once I tried to launch the game I was getting api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer error. I found that this library is a Microsoft Runtime library and it should be present in every Windows Operating system by default. However, for some reason it was not present on my computer. I’ve checked the location where it supposed to be and it was not there. Gladly, guys on the steam forum have helped me to fix the issue, so I will gladly share the solution with you.

Fix for vcruntime140.dll is missing in Wamp Server

Few days ago I had a problem related with vcruntime140.dll and Wamp server. I couldn’t launch WAMP server on my desktop, the light simply didn’t want to turn green and also I was getting a system error with the following text “The program can’t start because VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.” I have tried to install Apache services and other Microsoft redistributables, but nothing has helped me to fix the issue. The reinstallation of WAMP server didn’t help at all. I’ve tried to post my problem on various forums, but didn’t get any solution guide. Users have advised me to reinstall the operating system, but I didn’t like this idea and started to search for quick, simple manual fix of vcruntime140.dll is missing error.

Solution for vfpodbc.dll is missing error in Microsoft Office 2003

I am running Windows 10 64 bit operating system and decided to install Microsoft Office 2003, because I don’t like the interface and modifications of the new Office suite. Anyhow, after the installation when I try to create a document or open an existing document I was getting system error stating that C:\windows\system32\vfpodbc.dll is missing from my computer. I went to the system folder and really couldn’t find the vfpodbc.dll file there. I was wondering if it’s an issue of compatibility of the recent operating system with an old version of Microsoft Office, however I couldn’t find anything regarding compatibility issues on the Internet and even after calling the Microsoft support they said that there shouldn’t be any compatibility issues and the vfpodbc.dll is missing error is happening because the file is missing on my computer. Although they couldn’t help me to fix this issue, so I started to look for the solution by myself.

Fix for ole32.dll is missing error in Windows 7

Few days ago, out of nowhere after I rebooted my computer I started getting weird error that was popping up as soon as system boots up, instead of login “LogonUI.exe failed to start as ole32.dll is missing.” This error prevented me from using the computer, I couldn’t login neither restart my computer, the only solution was to hold the power button to turn off my computer. Booting in safe mode and other things suggested on various forums didn’t help. I was thinking that Microsoft silently installed some update and corrupted my system so I upgrade to the Windows 10. The other reason why the error appeared might be because I downloaded a game via torrent and got infected by some malware. Anyway I started to test various solution guides that I found on the Internet.

Fix for openal32.dll is missing error in Battlefield 1

I’ve pre-ordered Battlefield 1 as soon as it was announced and finally it became available for download on Origin. After the installation the game returned me an error message saying that openal32.dll is missing on my computer and to fix the issue I have to reinstall the program. First of all I’ve tried to verify the game cache but it didn’t solve the openal32.dll is missing problem. Neither the reinstallation of the game helped me to fix the openal32.dll error. I wrote a request to EA, but it takes ages to get a proper response from them. The last email that I’ve received from the support was that the problem is on my computer and the game is completely operational. I had two options – to refund the game or to try to fix it by myself. I opted for second one and started digging various forums until I found the solution that I am about to share with you.
